The Catholic Ladies Relief Society has a long history in Saint Joseph Parish. It was organized in December 1888 to help the poor in this area.

St. Josephs included all of Yuba and Sutter Counties at that time. The ladies here have followed the mission of the founders to this day.

The Relief Society operates St Joseph's food locker to provide food and compassion to people in need who sign up at the parish office.

About 100 adults and children are helped each month. Volunteers distribute food three days a week.

Catholic Ladies Relief Society #2 meets on the first Tuesday of each month at 6:00pm.

All ladies of the parish are invited to join our organization to help those in need.
